The Georgia Sheriff’s Association Names:

                   Sheriff Steve Cronic                      2007 Sheriff of the Year

                   Deputy Mark Thomason              2007 Deputy Sheriff of the Year

The Georgia Sheriff’s Associates has selected the Hall County Sheriff, Steve Cronic As Sheriff of the Year.

Thursday evening, the Georgia Sheriffs Association at its summer conference at Lake Lanier Islands, named Sheriff Steve Cronic, the Georgia Sheriff of the Year.

Additionally, Hall County Deputy, Mark Thomason was awarded the 2007 Deputy Sheriff of the Year award from the Georgia Sheriffs association.

For your convenience you will find attached the letter of nomination for Sheriff Cronic and Deputy Thomason. This will provide additional information on the events which were the basis for the nominations and awards.
