Sheriff’s Office Receives Award For Gang Efforts

 

The Hall County Sheriff's Office has received an award for its efforts against Gangs in our community.

 

Sheriff Cronic accepted the Presidents Award from the Georgia Gang Investigators Association last week for the Sheriff's Office’s “ Superior Effort In Combating Criminal Street Gangs” in Hall County. The award was also presented to the Gainesville Police Department along with the local FBI office.

 

Sheriff Cronic addressed the group and recognized Gang Enforcement Officers from the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Gainesville Police Department, and the FBI. He praised the Gang Task Force for their hard work and credited them for bringing this prestigious award to their respective agencies.

 

Sheriff Cronic further pledged his support and commitment to future efforts to combat any and all Gang activity in Hall County.
