Sheriff's Office Investigating Death of 5-week-old infant

 

 

Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a five-week-old infant. 

 

On Wednesday, January 12, 2004 at approximately 1230 PM, deputies responded with fire and EMS to a 911 call of an unresponsive infant at a residence in the 2100 block of Old Dawsonville Hwy. The infant was transported to the NEGMC where he was pronounced dead just after 2 PM.

 

Investigators along with the District Attorney's office are reviewing the matter. The preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play. Autopsy results are pending. 

 

The incident is still under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
