Sheriff's Office Investigating Infant Death

Investigators with the Hall County Sheriff's Office are investigating the death of a thirteen day old infant 

On Sunday, January 9, 2004 deputies responded with fire and EMS to a 911call of an unresponsive infant at a residence in the 4700 block of Holland Dam Road in Flowery Branch. The infant was transported to the NEGMC where she was pronounced dead just after 8 AM.

Investigators along with the District Attorney's office are reviewing the matter. The preliminary investigation revealed no signs of foul play. Autopsy results are pending but the cause of death appears to be accidental. 

The incident is still under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
