Snellville Man Arrested After Pursuit In Gainesville

 

 

Deputies from the Hall County Sheriff's Office were involved in a pursuit this morning that resulted in the arrest of a Snellville man.

 

At approximately 9:50 A.M. a Hall County deputy attempted to stop a 2001 Toyota Corolla, driven by 19 year old, Michael C. Bullard, of Snellville on Highway 129 south near the county line. Bullard had been driving extremely reckless and exceeding the speed limit.

 

Mr. Bullard refused to stop for the deputy and continued into Gainesville on EE Butler Parkway where officers with the Gainesville Police Department began to assist. The pursuit continued to Downey Boulevard where the pursuit ended after Bullard was involved in an accident with another vehicle. No one was injured in the accident.

 

Mr. Bullard was taken into custody and is currently being held in the Hall County Detention Center where he faces a number of traffic charges including: DUI, fleeing & attempting to elude, reckless driving, speeding, and 6 other traffic offenses. He is also charged with aggravated assault and obstruction.

 

The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
