
A Hall County student at the Lanier Career Academy was arrested after posting a bomb threat on the wall at the school.
On Wednesday afternoon a hand written bomb threat was found posted on a wall inside the Lanier Career Academy. Upon further investigation it was determined a student had posted the bomb threat.

Deputies with the Hall County Sheriff's Office arrested 17 year old, Andrea R. Payne, of Flowery Branch. She was charged with making Terroristic Threats and a False Public Alarm.
Ms. Payne is currently being held in the Hall County Detention Center without bond pending a Magistrate Hearing.
In addition to the criminal charges she will also face disciplinary action from the Hall County School System.
As a precautionary measure deputies conducted a complete search of the building with the Sheriff's Office’s bomb dog. Nothing was found and no one was injured.
The Lanier Career Academy is located off Atlanta Hwy and houses the Hall County School Systems Evening School.
