    On Friday February 13^th the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad, Gang Task Force, R.E.D.D.O.G. Unit and Traffic Enforcement Unit conducted concentration patrols. During these patrols several people were arrested and charged with the following offenses.

1) Richard Eugene Brown, 43, Pendelton S.C.

            Possession of Firearm by convicted felon (4 counts)

2) Glenna Lee Simmons, 59, Gainesville

            Misdemeanor Possession of Maijuana

3) Colleen Gay Bitterman, 49, Lawrenceville

            Misdemeanor Possession of Maijuana

4) Michael Nathaniel Holcomb, 42, Gainesville

            Possession of Crack Cocaine with intent to distribute

5) Christopher Turner, 48, Gainesville

            Superior Court Arrest Order

6) Meco Antwon Champion, 31, Gainesville

            Possession of Crack Cocaine

7) John Ramon Thompson, 19, Gainesville

            Probation Warrant

8) Claudia Pfeffer, 39, Gainesville

            Misdemeanor Obstruction

9) Terry Thorton, 33, Gainesville

            Possession Methamphetamine with intent to distribute

10) Christopher Curtis, 26, Cleveland, GA

            Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute

11) Ricky Strickland, 46, Gainesville

            Possession of Methamphetamine

12) Dexter Johnson, 36, Gainesville

            Possession of Crack Cocaine

13) Kathy West, 40, Gainesville

            No Drivers License

Around midnight a Sheriff’s Sobriety Checkpoint was set up on Harmony Church Road. Deputies screened each driver for alcohol impairment as they checked drivers license. Throughout the evening and into the early morning hours, officers did find several violators and issued citations and made arrest for following:

            3 DUI arrests

            12 No Drivers License

            23 Speeding

            8 Safety Restraint Violations

            3 No Insurance         

            9 Other Citations.
