The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating the report of a carjacking at the intersection of Spring and Skelton Road just before midnight last night.

 

Miguel Morales, age 29, of Gainesville advised deputies that he stopped at the intersection of Spring and Skelton Road when 2 Hispanic males approached his 2000 Ford pick-up truck armed with a small handgun.

 

The perpetrators pointed the firearm at Morales and ordered him and a passenger Ismael Hernandez out of the truck. The perpetrators described only as Hispanic males with shaved heads wearing blue jeans and jersey type shirts drove away with the perpetrators vehicle.

 

Deputies recovered the truck a short time later abandoned on Pleasant Circle approximately a mile away.

 

No one was injured in the incident and no arrests have been made.

 

The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
