
Deputies arrest 2 shortly after they fled from a residence on Stillwater Lane off Georgia Hwy 211, following an assault.
Deputies responded to an initial call of a burglary in progress on Stillwater Lane at approximately 11:20 A.M. Upon arrival deputies determined the incident was actually a domestic dispute that resulted in the victim being assaulted by an acquaintance.
Deputies responded to a residence on Oliver Road to check for the perpetrator. As deputies arrived the perpetrator, 18-year-old Justin D. Hawes of Braselton ran off into the woods.
He was picked up by 20-year-old Holly Ann Collins, also of Braselton, in a maroon Saturn. Deputies attempted to stop the perpetrators but they refused. Deputies pursued the two on Union Church Road to J.M. Turk Road where both were taken into custody.
There were no injuries and no vehicles where damaged.
Justin D Hawes was booked into the Hall County Detention Center and charged with False Information (F) and Battery under the Family Violence Act.
Holly Ann Collins was booked into the Hall County Detention Center and charged with the following:

The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
