Hall County deputies responded to a report of an armed robbery at the Kangaroo convenience store in the 1700 block of Atlanta Highway Tuesday morning around 0445 AM.
The clerk advised a male (unknown race) entered the store brandishing a knife and demanded cash. The perpetrator is described as a male, approximately 5’8” 200 pounds, wearing dark blue or black pants, dark shirt and a white T-shirt wrapped around his face concealing his identity.
Hall County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations & Gainesville Police Department K-9 responded to assist searching the area. The perpetrator left the scene on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.
The clerk did receive minor injury during the incident and was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center for precautionary reasons.
