The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating an overnight Homicide that occurred in northern Hall County.
Early Saturday morning at approximately 01:30 A.M. the Hall County Sheriff's Office responded to an altercation at Belton Bridge Park in northern Hall County.
Upon arrival to the scene Deputies discovered that a Lula man involved in the incident had received an injury that resulted in the victims death.
The victim is identified as 20 year old, James Carlton Smith of Lula.
The Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division continues to question witness and does have a suspect in the case.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office and the Hall County District Attorneys Office.
