The Hall County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a north Hall man after a farming accident near his residence.
Deputies responded to the accident on Chester Smith Road, Sunday, at approximately 9:40 P.M.
Chester Smith, age 85, of Gainesville had been bush hogging a field with his tractor. It appears the victim had gotten off the tractor to make an adjustment when the tractor rolled over him.
Mr. Smith was transported to the Northeast Georgia Medical Center where he later died.
Investigators have ruled the death accidental.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
