The Gainesville/Hall County Gang Task Force made 7 arrests following investigations into illegal drug and gang activity over the weekend.

According to GTF agent, Sergeant Scott Ware, the following people where arrested as a result:

 1) Matthew Edward Smith, age 21, Gainesville, Ga.
     Possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute
     Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
     Possession of Marijuana (M)

 2) Danny Diaz, age 22, Gainesville, Ga.
     Entering an auto

 3) Dwayne Glasper, 20, Gainesville, Ga.
     Possession of cocaine with the intent to distribute
     Possession of cocaine within 1000 ft. of government housing
     False information to an officer

 4) Tammie R. Cato, 37, Gainesville, Ga.
     Possession of Methamphetamine

5) Keith W. Breece, 20, Oakwood, Ga.
    Possession of Methamphetamine
    Concealed Weapon

 6) Sam. C. Elmore, 22, Oakwood, Ga.
     Possession of Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute
     Possession of Marijuana (m)
     Possession of Flexeril
     Possession of Soma

  7) Roderick H. Carruth, 42, Gainesville, Ga.
     Battery and Simple Battery

The investigations yielded quantities of cocaine, marijuana, methamphetamine and two firearms with an approximate value of $3,320.00
