The missing elderly man from North Hall county has been located safe. Donald P. Winkler was located in Coweta County in the town of Turin.

        Coweta County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of a person in the parking lot of the post office in the town of Turin at approximately 10:30 a.m. Friday 08-06-04. Upon investigation Coweta County deputies checked Donald Winkler’s name and birth date through the Georgia Crime Information Center in which they learned that he was reported as a Missing Person in Hall County. Deputies report that Mr. Winkler stated he got lost and was trying to find his way home.

         Mr. Winkler was transported to the local medical center in Coweta County for observation to where his family was notified.
