Deputies arrested a Lawrenceville Man early Saturday morning after residents of Poplar Springs Acres Subdivision reported gunshots in their neighborhood.
Deputies were advised someone in a white Ford Ranger pickup truck drove through the subdivision and fired several shots.
A short time later at approximately 2:00 AM deputies spotted the white Ford Ranger on Poplar Springs Road. Deputies pulled the truck over and determined that a passenger, John Edward Doss, age 21, of Lawrenceville, had fired the shots. He was arrested and charged with Reckless Conduct.
Deputies also recovered and confiscated a large caliber handgun from the perpetrator.
No one was injured and no property was reported damaged as a result of this incident.
The perpetrator offered no explanation as to why he fired the weapon in the subdivision.
Mr. Doss was booked into the Hall County Detention Center and later released on $1000.00 bond.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
