A Gainesville man was arrested for murder after the victim’s body was located in North Hall.
Investigators from the Hall County Sheriff's Office discovered the body of Wanda Gail Corbin, age 48, of Gainesville, just after 9AM this morning, near Glade Shoals off Georgia Hwy 52 just east of Clermont.
The discovery was made after the victim’s husband, Raymond Woodring, age 57, of Gainesville, turned himself into investigators which later led to the discovery of the victim’s body.
The incident appears to be domestic related.
The body has been taken to the Dekalb County Medical Examiners Office for an autopsy.
Mr. Woodring is charged with 1 count Malice Murder and is being held at the Hall County Detention Center without bond.
The case is still under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
