
Deputies arrest 3 Hispanic males shortly after they fled from a residence on Vaughandale Circle.
Deputies responded to a call of a burglary in progress on Vaughnandale Circle at approximately 12:30 P.M. Upon arrival 3 Hispanic males fled the scene on foot leaving their 1993 Toyota pickup truck behind.
Deputies called in tracking dogs from the Gainesville Police Department and the Lee Arrendale State Prison.
A short time later, neighbors from Venture Cove Subdivision reported a suspicious male in their neighborhood. Deputies quickly responded and took the first perpetrator into custody. Minutes later the 2nd suspect was taken into custody at the Kangaroo Convenience Store on Hwy 53 At Sardis Road.
The Lee Arrendale State Prison K-9 team along with Deputies from the Sheriff's Office tracked the 3rd Suspect down just after 3:00 P.M in a heavily wooded area just off Dawsonville Hwy
All three suspects have been turned over to the Criminal Investigations Division of the Hall County Sheriff's Office.
Positive identification has not been made on the suspects at this time. They are described as Hispanic males in their early 20’s.
All are expected to be charged with Burglary and booked into the Hall County Sheriff's Office later this afternoon.
The incident remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff's Office, Criminal Investigations Division.
