The Hall County Sheriff's Office plans to begin expanded services at the Sheriff's Office Precincts Monday.
Thanks to the support of the Hall County Commission the Sheriff's Office was able to hire a part time Community Policing Specialist to work between the precincts. The part time Specialist will be an administrative position that will be on site to answer questions, assist with problems, and direct citizens to County Services. Citizens will be able to pick up police reports as well as traffic accident reports from the Precinct saving them a trip to downtown.
Patrolmen will also utilize the Precincts. They will be able to use the office space for report writing and interviews.
The 3 precincts are all provided to the Sheriff's Office free of charge. The city of Clermont provides the building and utilities for the Clermont Precinct located on King Street in Clermont. The city of Lula provides the building and utilities for the Lula Precinct located adjacent to the Lula City Hall. The Hall County School Board provides offices space and utilities at the new Lanier Career Academy on Tumbling Creek Road across from the Chicopee Golf Course.
The Sheriff’s Office plans to begin opening the Precincts Monday using the following schedule.

| South, Sheriff's Office Precinct | Tuesday | 09:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
| (Hall Co Evening School - Tumbling Creek) | Thursday | 09:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. |
The precincts will be operated on this Schedule for the first six weeks, after that a permanent schedule will be set based on demand for service.
Sheriff Steve Cronic urges citizens to take advantage of the new precincts and hopes this will enhance the Hall County Sheriff's Office ability to serve the citizens of Hall County.
