
Operation G.R.A.C.E. (Graffiti Removal And Concentrated Enforcement)
On Thursday April 1st members of the Hall County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Enforcement Unit, Multi-Agency Narcotics Squad and Gang Task Force conducted multiple safety checkpoints throughout Hall County, concentrating in several areas that had recently experienced an increase in gang related graffiti. Simultaneously, deputies with the Hall County Detention Center along with employees with the Hall/Gainesville Public Works Departments supervised two inmate work details on the removal of existing graffiti in and around Gainesville and Hall County.
During the operation the following activity was noted:
Graffiti removal efforts involved 23 locations noted as major locations of gang related graffiti

DUI Arrests – 2
Suspended / Revoked License – 3
No Drivers License – 41
Safety Restrain Violations – 26
Other Citations – 26
Along with the seizure of 9 weapons and the following drug arrest:
-Mark Anthony Holman, 36, 2182 Wildwood Drive Gainesville
- Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor)
- Possession of Hydrocodone with intent to Distribute ($2,500.00 street value)
- Heath Jones, 17, 112 McConnell Drive Gainesville
- Possession of Marijuana (Misdemeanor)
- Juvenile Pickup Order
- Travis Hyde, 17, 112 McConnell Drive Gainesville
- Possession of Methamphetamine
- Obstruction of Officer (Misdemeanor)
Additionally, 3 local fugitive warrants were served.
