Sheriff’s Office Opens Lula Precinct

The Hall County Sheriff's Office in a partnership with the City of Lula opened a new precinct in Lula adjacent to Lula City Hall this morning.

The City of Lula provided and remodeled a city owned building providing office space for the new precinct.

Mayor Milton Turner along with the Lula City Council turned over the keys to the new precinct to Sheriff Steve Cronic, Commissioner Steve Gailey, and Commissioner Debra Lynn this morning during the opening ceremony.

Deputies will utilize the precinct for shift change and the office area for writing reports similar to the way the deputies use the Clermont Precinct.

The Sheriff's Office feels the new precinct along with the reduced size of the patrol districts will enable the Sheriff's Office to better serve the citizens of Lula and East Hall.
